When it comes to video game rentals these days, the process couldn’t be made any easier. A number of online rental companies have established their dominance within the game rental realm. Lets take a look at a few.
GameFly and Gottaplay are among the elite rental clubs known on the marketplace today. These two dominant rental services have more than four thousand games each within their arsenal.
Gamers will be thrilled to choose from titles both new and old from consoles such as XBOX, PS2, PSP, and Nintendo DS to name a few. These rentals generally range from $12.95 to $24.95 a month depending on which game plan you choose and how many games you would like to rent at a time.
When it comes to renting video games, online rental companies are the only choice for most. All titles from the two companies mentioned above are shipped within 1-2 business days from anywhere in the U.S. Once you’re done with your game, you can return it in the self addressed envelope it came with and receive your next title immediately, with no late fees, and especially no gimmicks.
Each game rental company is generally based more towards the East or West Coast even though both have distribution centers nationwide. GameFly is primarily located around the West Coast as Gottaplay is more evenly spread out across the nation with distribution centers located in more than 7 states.
For the more experienced gamer, I would highly reccommend one of these two video game rental clubs. Even though it may take a few days to reach your home, the long term benefits of not having to return the rentals at a specific deadline and never having to pay late fees is more than adequate enough reason to try out these clubs.
All reputable companies offer a 14 day game rental trial. So if you are not satisfied with the service, you can always go back to the storefront rental programs.
Best of all, if you enjoy any of the games you have rented, at anytime you can purchase the game for a very cheap price compared to anywhere else I have seen on the internet. You don't even have to pay for shipping because the game is already at your doorstep. The game club will charge your account the amount. Now thats service with a smile.

I just started gaming so I am no expert in these gaming rental companies. I did get a GameFly subscription for a gift and have been using it for around five weeks now. It works great for me, since I am patient and don't freak out if I don't have the latest game NOW. I really like GameFly's used game service, and I certainly like their selection. They have games I never knew existed. WEll just my two cents.
Gamefly is a great service. I've been a member for a couple years now. They always get the new games and have the best selecetion out there.
they're have a cool contest going on, check it out at www.gamegurugiveaway.com
We're just getting started, but we've just launched the private Beta version of iLetYou at http://www.iletyou.com, a new online rental community for DVDs and video games.
You can rent video games from a variety of stores, as well as earn money by renting your own games. There are great services out there - I hope that we can help surface more great games as well.
E-mail beta -at- iletyou.com for an invite code if you are interested in starting a store. Thanks!
