Do Not Buy A Wii PS3 Or Xbox 360 Until You Read This Article
Let's take a closer look at the three systems.
The Playstation 3 offers the best graphics of the 3 consoles hands down. The technology enlisted to create this machine is nothing short of extra ordinary. The Ps3 uses a Cell Broadband Engine to deliver the most amazing graphics I have ever seen in a video game console. Also it's Blue-Ray-DVD is the latest generation of DVD readers that boasts the highest resolution of any DVD format on the market. The HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) allows you to enjoy the highest performance in HD on either an HD TV or conventional TVs. You also have the choice of on board hard drive, either 20GB or 60GB for ease of storing information for fast and easy access. In addition the PSP can be plugged into the PS3 to exchange movies, photos, or music. The PS3 will also run all PS1, PS2, CDs, and DVDs. For graphics this is the best system available.
The Xbox 360 is another great system. The technology in the Xbox 360 is much like a computer, Surprise! Built by Microsoft it's easy to understand that Xbox 360 is largely built toward those that game online. The core of the system boasts a 512 MB shared system/video RAM, a custom, symmetrical, three-core CPU with each core running at 3.2Ghz; and a custom-built ATI Graphics processor with unified shader technology. Also a 20 gig hard drive (not in the core pack) to save your games, You can also download previous Xbox titles straight from the internet. Throw in wireless controllers, headset, and Ethernet capability and your all set for some serious online gaming. This is a great system all in all, the best online support, Xbox live (Xbox' online community) and the best computer support makes the Xbox 360 a force to be reckoned with.
Finally the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo has done it again. Nintendo has long been known for changing the gaming world. With the new controller system for the Wii, Nintendo is dominating the market once again. Nintendo has used an infrared system to make the user interface wireless. You have to move your hands to swing your sword in Zelda, swing both hands to box, and make a bowling motion to bowl in the Wii Sports game. This is an amazing interface. While playing with my kids a couple nights ago, I actually started to break a sweat playing tennis. In a world where video games have made us lazy Nintendo has really made it fun to get a little workout after work or school. This game console actually pulls you into the game, making you the hero or athlete you have always wanted to be. The console sits next to the TV, not floating around the floor to get kicked or stepped on. The sensor bar lives on top of the TV and picks up your movements and displays the result of your physical actions on the screen. The Nintendo Wii is simply an amazing system. The graphics so far aren't jaw dropping, but the user interface more than makes up for it.
To sum it all up:
We loved all 3 systems. The Playstation was a little more expensive than we liked and the lack of games currently available made the PS3 our least favorite, although it's an amazing system. The Xbox was also a great system, but we didn't feel like anything too new was introduced with the Xbox 360, seemed more just a newer model of the Xbox. Better graphics and great internet abilities, but not #1 this year. For our money the Nintendo Wii took the trophy. With a small price tag, and the best user interface innovation we have ever seen the Wii is the one to own.

God of War 2
In this sequel the bad man Kratos will be back, and will be fighting with beasts like three-headed dog cerebus, one-eyed giant cyclops and the flying gryphon. Kratos will also be seen riding on the eagle griffon. The God of war II is set in Greece & has better looks and appeal than its predecessor. The game will be easily accessible to anyone who has played the original game, as the sequel many of the gameplay qualities of the original game.
The gameplay will take the same approach as the game's story and build off of the original-game's mechanics by including new ways to murder your foes, as well as all-new mechanics such as the flying levels seen in the trailers all over the Internet. In building the sequel, the team is aiming to avoid the duplicacy by making the game a proper follow-up to the original God of War, and the story picks up where the original left off. Kratos, a newly minted god, will be dealing with his new stature in life and the headaches that come with it. Unlike any winner, the life of a new god, especially one in the Greek pantheon, isn't a whirlwind of photo opportunities and public appearances. As anyone who has read Greek mythology can tell you, a god's life on Olympus is where everyone is trying to figure out how to jack everyone around them. Though this way of life doesn't do much to help Kratos find the peace that's evaded him in his life, it does make for a nice game premise. While the entire story hasn't been revealed yet, what has been revealed so far is that Kratos finds himself on a quest to change his destiny, which will send him on a spree across land, sea, and air. And based on the trailer that's been released, it will involve a whole lot of killing.
Fans of Kratos all over the world are desperately waiting for the sequel to God of War. The PS2 game is lined for release in the market between February-March 2007.

Video Poker Jacks or Better Tips
The objective of video poker is to achieve a winning combination of cards. The player firstly chooses how much to bet on the game. The machine then presents the player with 5 cards. The player chooses which cards, if any, to keep and discards the remaining cards. The machine then replaces the discarded cards with new ones.
The payout schedule displays the machines winning combinations and the values for each combination. These values vary according to the credit bet.
If the player's last hand of cards form a winning combination, the player is awarded an amount corresponding with this combination and the number of coins bet.
Some machines give players the opportunity to win even more credit, by allowing them to bet their winnings and original bet using a secondary betting system.
There are various forms of video poker, such as 'Jacks or better', 'Aces Faces', 'Deuces Wild' and 'Joker Wild'. Each is said to have varying rules and strategies.
Basic video poker winning combinations
Below is a list of common video poker winning combinations. Some video poker games incorporate other combinations also.
Royal Flush
A Ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace, all in the same suite.
Straight Flush
5 cards in sequence and in the same suite.
4 of a Kind
4 cards of the same rank and in any suite + 1 unmatched card.
Full House
3 cards of the same rank and in any suite + 2 cards of the same rank and in any suite.
Flush
5 cards of any rank and in the same suite.
Straight
5 cards in sequence and in any suite.
3 of a Kind
3 cards of the same rank and in any suite + 2 unmatched cards.
2 Pairs
2 cards of the same rank and in any suite + 2 other cards of the same rank and in any suite + 1 unmatched card.
1 Pair
2 cards of the same rank and in any suite + 3 unmatched cards.
'JACKS OR BETTER' VIDEO POKER TIPS
This form of video poker generally requires a minimal winning combination of 2 'Jacks'. Always check the machine's payout schedule to confirm this.
Ensure you understand the payout schedule prior to deciding whether to bet and how much to bet on each game. Try to compare different machines and see if any offer a higher payout rate for certain winning combinations, such as for 'full house' or 'flush'.
Generally, it seems more beneficial to bet the maximum amount of credit on each game. The jackpot for a 'Royal Flush' combination, for example, is only awarded if the player has bet the maximum number of coins. The problem, however, is that this has the potential to quickly exhaust your wallet. With this in mind, find a machine that best suits your budget. A quarter machine may suit your budget more so than a dollar machine, for example.
If your initial hand of cards does not contain a winning combination but contains a 'Jack', 'Queen', 'King' or 'Ace', it may be worthwhile holding onto this card and discarding the other four.
If your initial hand does not contain a winning combination but shows the potential to give you one should you hold certain cards and discard others, consider the probability of obtaining certain combinations versus other combinations.
If your initial hand does not contain a winning combination and seems to hold no promise of one should you hold any cards, consider discarding all 5 cards. The next lot of 5 cards have the potential to give you a winning combination.
If your initial hand contains a winning combination, it is generally less risky to hold on to the cards that form this winning combination than to not do this in the hope of obtaining a higher winning combination. This is probably a question of guaranteed returns versus possibly higher returns that are NOT guaranteed.
If your initial hand contains a '4 of a kind' combination, hold onto all cards as changing the unmatching card will not improve your winning combination.
If your initial hand contains 4 cards needed to achieve a 'Royal Flush' or 'Straight Flush' but you need one more card to achieve this winning combination, SERIOUSLY CONSIDER holding onto these four cards and discarding the non-matching card. 'Royal Flush' and 'Straight Flush' combinations are most rewarding.
If your initial hand contains 4 cards needed to achieve a 'Straight' or 'Flush' but you need one more card to achieve this winning combination, consider holding onto these four cards and discarding the non-matching card. 'Straight' and 'Flush' combinations are relatively rewarding.
Recognize when a jackpot (large value) has been won. Some machines will ask you to call an attendant who will organize payment to you. Never handle or walk away from a machine that has just produced a jackpot winning. Call the attendant or have someone call him/her for you while you wait at the machine.
Find out if the venue you intend to play at offers other incentives, such as points, meals, accommodation, etc., that goes with your game play. This however doesn't mean that you should play purely for these secondary benefits.
Practice your strategy for free using a video poker simulator. Many online casinos offer free game play.
Try to recognize when your luck may have changed. There are many examples of people winning significantly then "getting greedy", so to speak, and losing everything.
Make sure you empty the machine of your credit prior to leaving it. Each year, people accidentally abandon machines that still have their credit inside.
Assign a budget for the day's play. If the budget is lost, you will know when to leave the casino.
Don't bet more than you can afford to lose.

General Rules For Playing Blackjack
In Blackjack you and the dealer start with two cards. Yours will be face up and the casino dealer will have one face up and one face down. You are allowed to hit until you are comfortable with your number or until you bust. This is also the time when you decide to double, take insurance, or split a pair. After that time it is then the casino dealer’s turn. They can hit until they have beat you or until they bust. You then take your earnings, or not, based on who had the best hand.
You may double after you receive your first two cards. If you choose this, you are only allowed one more card, no more. The dealer, however, can continue to hit to try and beat you.
You may take insurance before the game starts if you see that the dealer’s showing card is an Ace. You are really betting against yourself because you are betting on the dealer having Blackjack. So if they do have Blackjack, you lose the hand but win something for taking insurance. If they do not have Blackjack then you lose what you bet on insurance, but win if you have a better hand than the dealer. You may also split if you are dealt a pair.
Blackjack is a game of luck and skill. There are several gambling choices and sometimes, as with insurance, you can win even if you lose. Knowing the rules and tips on when to hit and stand will help you become a better player and maybe even a winner.

General Rules For Playing Roulette
There are certain things that you can bet on, these include:
Single numbers up to 36 with a 35 to 1 payout
On a line, which bets on two numbers at once, with a 17 to 1 payout
On a row, with an 11 to 1 payout
On a corner, with an 8 to 1 payout
Two rows, with a 5 to 1 payout
1st 12 (numbers 1-12), 2nd 12 (numbers 13-24), or 3rd 12 (numbers 25-36), with a 2 to 1 payout
1-18 or 19-36 collectively, with an 1 to 1 payout
Red or black, with a 1 to 1 payout
Even or odd, with a 1 to 1 payout
Your payout is based on where you had placed your bet and it is always wise to keep your bets with each other. For example, bet on 12, red, and even instead of 12, black, and odd. This keeps you from being your own opponent because to win, you also have to lose.
Roulette is a very simple casino game once you know how to place your bet. Gambling on it can be confusing at first but, once you get the hang of it, can be exciting due to the various ways you can place your bets on each round. Deciding on a betting strategy can even be half the fun!

Good Old Arcade Machine Games
You know, the ones you could play for just 20 cents or 40 cents at the very most?
You’d jump on your bike or catch a bus and head down to your local arcade center. There’d be loads of machines just waiting to be played: Pacman(TM), Space-Invaders(TM), Galaga(TM) and many more. “Ooh, what’s this new game?”
All you needed were a couple of dollars and you could be playing for ages. Sure, the graphics and sound effects were not as high-tech as those produced by today’s machines, but did anyone care?
Those games and many others rated tops on the addiction scale. One of my personal favourites was Galaga(TM). It’s an early 80’s alien shoot-em-up I was hooked on.
Home computers were not very common back in those days. Playing your favourite arcade game on a home computer was not always possible. Even if it was, the quality of the home computer version was sometimes not as good as that of the arcade version.
Things are very different today. The home computer is much more sophisticated. Software has evolved several hundred-fold. The Internet as we know it has come into being. People can now play classic and newer arcade games, as well as sports games, board games and much more at home and for free.

Lineage 2 Popular Online Game Meets Sci-Fi
Lineage 2 is designed in such a way that it should be played from the point of view of a third person. Once the game is started, you are taken to the amazing world of Adena where Player versus Player combat is constant. You are given option to choose from any of the five fantasy races, such as, the dark elves, humans, dwarves, elves, and orcs, each with its own class trees, which in turn enables players to alter their character appearance. The selection of race not only tests the players’ ability but also the way they will later develop or advance in the game. All of the races are great for combat, but dwarves differ significantly from the others and they are the only race possessing crafting skills. Additionally, players can decide between two starting classes; fighter or a spell caster. Fighters can use weapons, and the other, as the name indicates, use spells.
Movements involved in the game are accomplished by either pointing or clicking. But, in order to play the game, you must have a clear idea on RPG. One of the worth mentioning features of Lineage 2 is the use of Soulshots and Spiritshots, which play the role of a weapon or a spell for a single bow. Another unique feature involved in this game is grinding level. Above all, the game’s GUI is amazingly clean and utilizes screen space very proficiently. Lineage 2 is also renowned for its character models, particularly female characters which take after beauty pageant. Other relevant features of the game are class advancement and specialization; large variety of in-game events for players to cooperate in; advanced graphic engine; no zoning and hence one big world; castle sieges; political as well as economic systems; simple interface as well as easy to learn game structure; and clan housing and castles.
However, in order to attain success, Lineage 2 involves the application of certain weapons such as arrows, healing potions, and soulshots, which can be acquired through its purchase via Lineage 2 Adena. Lineage 2 Adena is the currency considered invaluable in Lineage 2. But farming cheap L2 Adena is not an easy task. It mostly comes from such sources as quests, monsters, and other players. Selling items to players is regarded as one of the best ways to gather plenty of Lineage 2 Adena, since many of the weapons applied in the game may be of high price in the private stores. Popular ways to buy Lineage 2 Adena also include farming weapons from quests or monsters and selling it to vendors. Another great way to earn Lineage Adena 2 is through clans by taxing the surrounding lands if they own a castle in the area. But, it is recommended not to buy Lineage 2 Adena from NPC merchants.
There is a limit to what words could convey. So, in order to get the true feel of Lineage 2 Adena, try competing in one of the races and don the various character colors. Real time gaming helps you to learn and understand the game better.

Slot Machines Online A Glimpse at 5 New Microgaming Slot Machine Games
Microgaming is the major software provider for the online gambling industry. Over the past two years, Microgaming has launched over 100 new casino games, including more than 50 slot machines. Each of these new slot games has its own unique theme, ranging from chocolate to dinosaurs. This article summarizes 5 of Microgaming's newest slot games, including Big Kahuna, Tunzamunni, Tomb Raider, Ladies Nite, and Gift Wrap.
Big Kahuna is a 5-reel, 9-pay-line video slot machine with a jungle theme. Big Kahuna accepts coins from 1¢ up to $1.00. One or more Big Kahuna symbols on the pay-line create winning combinations. One symbol pays out $2, two symbols pay out $10, three symbols pay out $200, four symbols pay out $1,000, and all five Big Kahuna symbols pay out $8,000.
Tunzamunni is a 3-reel, single pay-line progressive slot. Its jackpot starts at $10,000 and sometimes goes above $100,000. With a maximum bet of just 25¢, Tunzamunni is an ideal game for low rollers. You win the Tunzamunni jackpot by playing the maximum bet of 25¢ and by hitting a White, Red, and Blue Seven (in that exact order) on the pay-line.
Introduced in October, 2004, Tomb Raider is probably the most successful online slot machine game to date. Tomb Raider's success is partly due to its association with the popular computer game, The Tomb Raider Series. Tomb Raider is a 5-reel, 15-pay-line video slot machine with a science fiction theme. You enter into a world of lost treasures and the "irreplaceable" Lara Croft. Two or more Tomb Raider symbols on the pay-line create winning combinations. Two symbols pay out $5, three symbols pay out $200, four symbols pay out $2,000, and all five Tomb Raider symbols pay out $7,500.
Ladies Nite is a 5-reel, 9-pay-line video slot machine that appeals to the ladies. Its theme is fun and fashion. You enter into a world of hunky waiters, pina coladas, and glittering dance floors. Two or more Glitterball symbols on the pay-line create winning combinations. Two symbols pay out $10, three symbols pay out $200, four symbols pay out $2,000, and all five Glitterball symbols pay out $10,000.
Gift Rap is a 5-reel, 25-pay-line video slot machine with a traditional Christmas theme. There are plenty of elves, spinning tops, teddy bears, and music boxes. Two or more Wild Bauble symbols on the pay-line create winning combinations. Two symbols pay out $3, three symbols pay out $50, four symbols pay out $500, and all five Wild Bauble symbols pay out $6,000.
Whether you play slots online or blackjack in Vegas, remember to only gamble with the money that you can afford to lose. Decide beforehand how much you wish to spend, and don't exceed your spending limit should you lose. Never gamble when you are tired or irritable. Finally, have fun and quit while you are ahead. By following these simple rules of gambling, your casino experience will be more fun-filled and enjoyable.

MMORPGs Player Versus Player
PVP stands for player versus player and is a part of the end game for many MMORPGs currently on the market. Player versus player combat allows players to compete against other players in duels or team warfare.
Player versus player in MMORPGs cant be compared to the FPS counterpart (counterstrike, quake etc) as it is not twitch based combat. Player skill in pvp is defined by awareness and knowledge of the character the player controls (abilties, spells etc). PVP is not entirely up to the player's skill as its results are also defined by the items the character wears.
The most argued issue of pvp in mmorpgs is the balance issue. On the one side you dont want any sort of class or skill combo to be more powerful than others, as that would give an unfair advantage to the people playing that class. On the other hand you do not want to end up with all classes feeling the same. Gladly mmorpgs are very team/group oriented games, and as soon as we distance ourselves from the need to be a solo hero slaying everything in our sight we can counter the balance issues by grouping up with other players. Somewhat at least.
A healer does not need to do the same amount of damage as a mage, a healer should heal. Having group based pvp allows that to happen. The problem is, everyone wants to dish out the damage once in a while and so players will complain either way.
A second issue of player versus player combat in mmorpgs is the pve vs pvp balance. In my opinion there is no way to balance those two against each other successfully and still have a fun game. PVE players play to advance their characters and gain powerful items. Powerful items will give them an unfair advantage in pvp against those players that spend the majority of the time enjoying the pvp content. In my opinion pve and pvp parts of the game need to be separated or the focus needs to be put exclusively on one part.
When I say separated i mean it. Could have two roads of character advancement, one for pvp and one for pve. Items gained while doing pve content only work against pve content and vice versa. Have a ranking system for the pvp road that awards the player with items as they gain rank. This would solve the item balance issues. But there is still the skill , spell issue, that needs to be balanced for both pve and pvp as well.
Maybe its just time we stop over analyzing the games we play and just play them for the ... you know ... whats the word ... fun ... for the fun of it. Then the developers could spend their precious time focusing on other aspects than reaching 100% character balance.

The amazing success of the favourite pastime of many, Bingo does not happen overnight. It does has its own history, which dates back to it first appearance in the early 1800s. Bingo is a direct descendent of lottery-type games and its roots can be traced back into Europe, to the year 1530, when the Italian state run game of Lo Giuoco del Lotto was organized.
Over the centuries, an offshoot of that game spread through the whole of Europe. It was played quite differently from now as the game card was divided into 3 horizontal rows and nine vertical columns, instead of the usual 5x 5 grid. Another difference is that the numbers used are in the range of 1-90 while nowadays we use only numbers from 1 to 75.
The horizontal rows contained 5 numbered squares and 4 blank ones. As usual, the objective of the game was to cross out a horizontal row or vertical column. The blank squares were marked as "free" , similar to our present game, and the player needed to have the 5 numbered squares called.
Each player would be given one unique card and has to wait for the caller to draw numbers from a bag that contain wooden chips which are numbered from 1-90.
Bingo in its current form, grew out of the depression and was immediately a big hit with the Americans looking for a diversion from the everyday drudgery of life. As its fundraising potential was realized by churches and various groups, Bingo grew out of proportions and spread from coast to coast rapidly. By the middle of 1930s, thousands and thousands of Bingo games were played each week and this game subsequently ended up as the favourite pastime for many players.
On the east coast, New Jersey legalized the game in the 1950s and New York did the same in 1959. As other states realized the popularity of Bingo, the game simply became unstoppable and everyone seems to be playing it everyday.
The lucrative possibilities of Bingo was also attracting the attention of other neighbouring countries who were looking for revenue generating opportunities. Thus, it did not take long for these countries to jump onto the Bingo bandwagon.

My Take On Video Game Testing Centers
Have you ever heard of testing centers?
Those places where some companies send their games to be tested by one of the many testers employed there.
When it comes to your own career as a video game tester, there's both a positive and a negative to these centers, and that's what I'll be discussing below.
I'll start with the positives:
These centers provide quality testing jobs in which you will gain a lot of experience in the field.
Not only will you get experience that looks great on your resume, but you also won't be stuck testing the one game for months at a time. These centers get games from all different game companies, and each time you move on to the next task you will likely be testing a different game.
Now for the negatives, and there is just one big one:
These centers give you no opportunity to expand your career. You probably wouldn't have had much chance to get to know anybody in other areas of the video game industry.
If you did decide you wanted to move up the ranks you'd have to quit your job and start fresh with a different company.
So should you look into getting a job at one of these testing centers or not?
They may seem like the best choice in the short term but if you are looking for a lengthy career in the industry, I'd recommend finding a job with an actual game publishing company.
Testing centers are still a good way to get experience, but I'd only recommend working at one part-time (is possible) or while you are still studying to expand your qualifications.

5 Keys to the Kingdom How to Conquer Any Online Video Game
Today's online video games (MMORPG's) are extraordinarily complex worlds that take a lot of time to master. Whether you play a couple of hours a week or a couple of hours every day there are some fundamental rules you should follow to maximize what you achieve within these online worlds.
Kingdom Key 1: Tracking and managing your time spent
This is the most important key. Regardless of how much time you play you have to make the maximum of your time. This means keeping track of what is going on and what you learn in the game then applying a simple rule: Do what makes the most use of your limited time. Let me give you an example of what I mean. Often times you will embark on a quest or harvest and mine raw materials. Let's say you do a specific task that takes you 1 hour to complete and your reward is 1,000 gold. This is great. You now understand that for this particular task one hour is worth 1,000 gold. But this isn't the end of your learning. There are many other tasks that you can do. Maybe there is a simple harvesting task that reaps you 100 gold every five minutes. Well if you do the math on this task you will see that in one hour you can actually earn 1,200 gold. This is a 20% improvement of your time. By doing this you will actually be squeezing in an extra hour of game time every five hours. See how this can be significant? This careful tracking of your time also works in the other direction. There may be a complex task that takes you a five full hours to complete. But this task rewards you with 10,000 gold. If you were to do the original one-hour task for five hours you would have earned 5,000 gold. This more complex task has earned you twice as much gold.
The simple rule here is to keep notes on the various tasks you do and to record how much of a reward these tasks earn you. You will quickly see which tasks earn you more money for the time you spend.
I will often do a very specific task for one full hour and include all the ancillary necessities in the task, which might mean trips to the shop, repair of equipment, buying, selling or anything else that the task entails. At the end of one hour I have an exact count of what I earned. This gives me accurate data that I can compare to other tasks.
Kingdom Key 2: Harnessing the Power of other People
This key is also very important whether you are new to an online game or a seasoned player. There are people in the game that know things about it that you don't know. This is plain and simple, and you have to get them to help you to get better faster. There are three things that you can do to maximize your benefit from other people. The first thing you should do is join a guild or clan as soon as possible. It should be a medium to large clan because this will give you access to a wider variety of people, and it should be a clan that is in alignment with your goals for the game. If you really like PK (Player-killer) action then you should join this type of guild. If you really like magic or a certain type of character you should join a guild that focuses on that. The second thing you should do is join online forums that are devoted to the game. Forums have an absolute wealth of knowledge about games and they give you a quick understanding of the people that are knowledgeable. You can quickly form a friendship with an experienced player after just a few friendly forum comments and posts. The third thing you can do, and this is the most difficult, is to start your own guild or clan. If you have the people skills and leadership ability this can be the absolute best thing you can do because you can guide groups of people toward tasks that benefit your guild and you can achieve your personal goals at the same time. The wealthiest players in many games are almost always either guild leaders or in a leadership position. You can even assign other people to gather information and keep notes for you and for your guild. This is a great savings of your time.
Kingdom Key 3: Keeping track of the enormous amount of information.
You are playing a game that is enormously complex. It is probably more complex than the city you live in. There are more people, more tasks, more quests, more locations and more opportunities. Do you know every location and every street in your city? Probably not, and when you need to find something where do you look? In the Yellow pages or on map quest! You need to create your own yellow pages for the game you play. Get a brand new empty notebook and take extensive notes. Where are the interesting things? Run into something unusual and don't know what it is all about? Write a note about it in your book. I guarantee you that at some point in the future you will need that note! Draw small sketches and take down all sorts of information you discover. Did you find an interesting mine or a nice plant that you can harvest? Did you find a den of goblins and can't fight them yet? Having all this down in a notebook will make you so much better as you progress through the game. This step is hard for some people to do because it means actually taking your hand off the mouse and not playing the game for a minute but it is well worth the effort. It is also a very good idea to make notes about other players in the game. Did you meet somebody that is an expert on a certain topic or quest? Write that person's character name down and a quick note about them. You will be able to look them up in the future when you need that type of information.
Kingdom Key 4: Do your Out of Game Research
But Don't Cheat! Every popular online game has lots of websites, forums, and chat rooms affiliated with it. People are very passionate about these games and many people give lots of tips, hints, and ideas about the games. Spend the time out of the game surfing the Internet for good information that will help you solve quests, find resources, and make more money faster. But, never do anything unethical, don't use cheat programs, automated programs, or any other type of software or information that the developers of the game would consider a violation. And always avoid any website that offers these kinds of cheats. If a website will help you cheat the game company they will have no problem cheating you too. Some of these websites lure you to them then secretly load programs, viruses and worms on your computer so they can steal your game password and login information. Trying to cheat is just not worth this risk. At the minimum you will get caught by the game company and banned and at the worst your account could be hijacked by an unscrupulous webmaster and you could log in to your character one day to find all your stuff missing and your account emptied out.
Kingdom Key 5: Remember to have fun!
It is after all just a game and that's the whole point. If keeping track of all this stuff becomes a chore to you then scale it back a bit and spend time just enjoying the game and chatting with other characters. Acquiring the skills I have outlined here takes time. They are habits you will get into over time. Just don't give up on them. Do them a little at a time and before you know it you will have a great compilation of information about the game and you will gain a reputation as one of the best players in the game.

Pending Castle Defending
Imagine this, you are sent back to medieval times where all lived in castles and feared inevitable attack from neighbouring power hungry countries. A mission is bestowed upon you, You must protect your castle at all costs. Many men will try to penetrate your castle walls and if they do your people will fall.
Ok basically it’s a game where you being the mouse, and god I suppose, have to stop all the stick men that run at the castle and kill them by chucking them high into the air and watching them as they plummet to an ear bending thud on the ground.
As the levels progress you earn more money and can purchase more defences which you need as the attacks become faster and more intense and their attack artillery grows faster than you defences.
The best I have done on this game is about the 4th level, I know that’s bad but it’s hard, very addictive though, I very much like this game hence why I have placed it on my website.
This online game is very similar to another game I have played and can't think what is called but is also very fun something about castles and trying to attack them. Basically if you make a game with a castle in it and a lot of stick men dying it will be a successful game… Saying that any game with a lot of stick people dying in my opinion will be a very successful game but I am easily amused. Anyway I digress … the online game I am reviewing here is “defend your castle” and yea it’s a really fun online game. I have spent many an hour playing it. If you wish to play this game the link to it is below.
http://ezinearticles.com/?Pending-Castle-Defending&id=340633Game Cheats And How You Can Use Them Without Feelig Bad
Amaterasu, the brave adventurer from the widely popular and standard setting Okami game, has just entered an area with a tree, a dark looking tree without further use than being just a tree… or is it…? Looking closer you realize there is a ribbon tied around it and your gamer instincts tells you that ribbon has a meaning – but what on earth could it be?
You try different approaches, Amaterasu tries all the powers he have and still you just stand there beside a dark tree with no clue as how to move on in the game.
Would you stop playing? No. You would resort to one of the very popular “game cheat sites”. The word cheat would put off many who do not really know what these sites are about. Sure can be certain to find real cheats there, in the form of special codes that you can enter with special game console peripherals.
But for the most part people come to these sites in search of Guides and Tutorials. It works like this; say you are playing a Zelda game and Link, the hero, is stuck in a fire temple room. You have tried for three hours and simply can not find out how to move that blasted obstacle blocking your way.
Enter the Cheat site, and you search for the game you are playing. Great, you find 5 different tutorials so you enter the first one, search within the document to find “Fire temple” and you read, scroll, read and recognize every step you have taken within the temple and WHAM – it hits you in the face, all you needed was to light the torches and then use the mirror spell to remove the block – why on earth didn’t you think of that? (Or why on earth did Miyamoto think of that, might be a sound question).
So you remove the obstacle and can keep playing, leaving the cheat/guide site and try to figure out the rest of the way in the game for yourself without outside help. Until you confront that “Unbeatable” boss…
Is it cheating? That’s really up to each person to decide. Personally I don’t consider getting outside help now and then cheating. Putting in codes for unlimited life, unlimited ammo etc on the other hand, yes, that’s what we call cheating.

Arcade Games The Good Ole Days
I remember playing my first arcade game in a bar in Montreal. It was 1981 I was underage, drunk, in a digital delirium, and the arcade game was the original Pacman. This was about the coolest thing I had ever seen. I'd always had a thing for games, even before the first arcades and arcade games sprung up. Even before computer games for the home PC. I used to subscribe to games magazines that never, ever mentioned the word computer. This was something totally new and sumptuously fascinating. Countless hours of my well wasted youth were spent in arcades, long after plenty of beer swilling at the local pub. Arcade games, and computer games have come a long way since then, but there's nothing like your first time.
Frag This You Bourgeoisie Backgammond Barnacle
Shortly after my lascivious encounter with arcades and the hypnotizing arcade game jewels hidden within, my family purchased it's first home PC. A radio shack trs-80. More commonly called a trash-80. It was here that I learned the cunningly devious game of backgammon. Not sure I would have ever learned that game without being introduced to it by a computer. It's not the kind of game that would have appealed to a veteran of the arcade game wars. Something that belonged more to the smoky backrooms of a retirement home. Computers, arcades, and arcade games were already broadening my vistas.
Avast Commodore, Ya Scurvy Megabyte
Next on my list of technological wonders ya scallywags, is the Commodore 64. Now here was an arcade game killer if I every gazed upon one. Arcades are few and far between now, and the Commodore, is one of the reasons why. Why spend hours in an arcade, having a machina suck and swallow every last quarter in my pocket? When I can sit in the less the luxurious decadence of my basement playing the likes of jumpman, and setting arcade game style high scores for my baby brother to frantically try to match. Not like in the arcades where he could be humbled in front of the masses, but this arcade game jewel would serve my purposes none the less.
Arcadia Arise Oh Mighty Griffon
Old is new, black is blue, and from the depth, arises the legends of old and times forgotten. Huh? What I'm frothing forth about here, is that arcade games are back with a vengeance. All us old fogies, who remember time spent in arcades watching the neighborhood masters pummel evil incarnate up till level 9999 rejoice! You can once again relive the glories of the golden age of arcade games. Just google around a little, and you'll find free versions of all the great arcade game from the past. Not to mention a few new legends being born in the ancient art of arcade games. And hey save your quarters. These games are free as the air you breathe. Of course you better not let those quarters get too far, your gonna need them to keep that old jalopy of a Commodore in running order.

My Life with the Sims
My favorite computer game of all-time is "The Sims" and I was not surprised at all when I read the news announcing that the game was voted as one of the most popular and best-selling games of all time, based on an online survey of PC gamers.
According to the game’s distributors, Electronic Arts, the virtual-life Sims game has sold over 7 million copies worldwide as of 2002, dislodging Myst as the top-selling computer game of all time. First created by Will Wright and Maxis, “The Sims” has spawned a number of expansion versions which, if taken into account, would reflect total worldwide sales of The Sims series at over 13 million.
Since the game was first issued to the public on February 4, 2000, there have been seven expansion packs that followed as well as a sequel, The Sims 2.
What makes the game so appealing is its unique gameplay. Instead of meeting a set of objectives like the great majority of computer games, The Sims allows players to engage in a fully interactive environment and the Sims characters can make their own choices about everyday living. The challenge to the player is how to best spend the Sims’ time in a "virtual day." And like real life, the only real objective is how to organize the Sims’ time and activities to give him maximum happiness and to help him attain his personal goals.
One unique quality of the Sims is that, like real people, they also possess a certain amount of free will. This allows them to ignore a player's commands if they wish and instead embark on something that they consider to be more pressing and important, just like real people. For instance, a player may order a Sim to go to the supermarket or visit a friend, but if the Sim is tired and fatigued, it may simply fall asleep instead to restore its energy.
Players also have control over how their Sim character relates with other characters. For instance, they can make the Sim a real jerk who insults, slaps or even attacks other Sims, which, just like in real life, often means that they get insulted, slapped around and attacked in return.

But how do you do it?
Of course, you could go the old-fashioned route and get your degree in Game Art and Design, but if you already have your degree in another field of study and you don’t have the time or inclination to go back, there are some simple steps you can take to get your foot in the door at Flash gaming companies the world over:
• Get a degree in something. Any degree program will teach you critical thinking skills, writing and speech (which is important when you’re trying to make a good impression), plus you can add in art classes to develop your creative side and programming classes for a solid background any employer would love to have.
• Develop a working Flash game demo and submit it to gaming sites like UGOPlayer.com and others. This will get your game out there, get you the feedback you need to work out the kinks and – most importantly – impress gamers and others in the industry.
• As a side job – or your only job – land a position with an established game company to test their games. It’s not glamorous, but it will get your foot in the door and you’ll work with just about everyone in the company!
• Parlay your game tester job into a QA job and get to know the developers and designers personally and professionally. If you can make some good calls, they’ll learn to respect your work and may, eventually, help you weasel your way into their division.
Of course, knowing the actual games that are hot or are coming up really helps your knowledgebase and your understanding of what people really want in a Flash game, so play, play, play. But don’t just sit on your sofa like a lump – play the games in earnest – take notes, find the tricks and discover what really makes them tick.
When you’re ready, send out your resume and your demo, follow up on every inquiry and make any connection you can. There’s stiff competition in game development, but with the right skills, the right connections and a good plan of attack, you’ll land on your feet.

Popular Online Game Meets Sci-Fi

How to Watch the SuperBowl
The teams may not have been decided yet, but it is not like it really matters, no matter who plays most eyes will be glued to the game. With the exception of the fans of those teams that are playing most people who watch the SuperBowl are just hoping for a good game.
One thing people like to do to make the game more interesting is an office football pool. This is when everyone throws money into a pot and you get a box latter numbers are randomly put in each box, then at the end of each quarter the score is checked and whoever is on the box that corresponds with the current score wins some money, and who ever has the score at the end of the game gets the majority of the money.
Another thing the more hardcore gamblers like to do is to place a bet at one of the many online sportsbooks. If this is hat you are into I recommend you go to several sportsbooks before placing your bets, different sites will offer different odds. Make sure to only place your bets on the SuperBowl with the bookie who offers you the best odds.
Besides betting on the game there are many things you can do to make the game more enjoyable.
The people you watch the game with effect the enjoy ability of the game. If some of the people you watch the SuperBowl with do not like football or understand the game they are not going to get into the game and they may want to talk and be a disturbance to those who want to watch the game undisturbed.
The 2 most important things you need to watch the SuperBowl are food and beverages. SuperBowl party’s can be very wild and result in many people calling out of work the next day, because of being hung over or sick from bad food.
Make sure whatever types of foods you offer the foods were not prepared in a rush. If you are planning to order food to be delivered you may want to rethink your plan. One of the busiest nights of the year for a take out restaurant is SuperBowl Sunday, and in a rush to get all the orders delivered on time sometimes food can be undercooked, so you may want to either keep it simple like pizza or make your own food.
Beverages can be a bigger problem then the food. Most men will usually drink some beer while watching the game, but unless each person brings their own beer you risk running into someone who does not like the selection you have provided, also because the game is on a Sunday people may want to stay sober, because of work the next day. So make sure to have a good selection of beer, hard liquor and non alcoholic soft drinks. You can always ask you friends when you invite them for the game what they like to drink, then assuming no one picks something so out of the ordinary you should be able to find an acceptable mix of drinks for everyone.
As for Snacks I recommend a large selection or the basics chips, pretzels and maybe popcorn or even peanuts.
Hopefully this will help you to have a better time watching the SuperBowl, and throw a great party at the same time.

Chinese Gambling Games Casino Games with Chinese Origins
Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a hybrid of American poker and traditional Chinese tiles game called Pai Gow. The original tile game Pai Gow, which means Make 9, is one of the most ancient gambling games that are still available in cotemporary casinos. Pai Gow Poker is played with playing cards instead of tiles and it uses the traditional poker hand ranking. It is one of the most popular casino games worldwide and it can be found in almost every major casino in the US. Its online version can be played at most casinos on the internet.
The object of the Pai Gow Poker is to form the highest possible two poker hands, one five card hand and a two card hand, out of the seven cards dealt to each player. Each player competes against the banker that can be either the casino dealer or one of the players who can afford paying the players winnings.
Sic Bo
Sic Bo is yet another popular casino game with roots that go back to ancient China. The chance game came to the States around the beginning of the 20th century by Chinese immigrants. It can be played in most land based casinos in Macau, the US and the UK. Sic Bo has an online version as well.
The meaning of Sic Bo is Dice Pair. It is played with three standard dice on a special table. Each player places any number of bets on the table and then tosses the dice. The outcome is determined by the combinations of the three dice. Each combination has a different payoff according to a payoff schedule, which vary from one casino to the other.
Fan Tan
Fan Tan used to be the most popular gambling game among Chinese gamblers but the glory days of Fan Tan have already passed. During the 1890s, Chinese immigrants brought the game to the United States. At that time, every Chinatown in American City had several Fan Tan houses that were always full of enthusiastic gamblers. Nowadays, you can find Fan Tan in some casinos in Macau as well as in some online gaming sites.
Traditional Fan Tan, not to be confused with the card game of the same name, used to be played with any objects such as coins, dried beans or small buttons on a table with a square marked on it. Fan Tan. The object of the game is pretty simple and odds are 1: 4.
The play begins with the banker puts on the table a pile of objects then covers them with a bowl. Each player has to bet on one of the numbers that mark the four sides of the square, or on one of the corners of the square. After the bowl is removed, the croupier removes four of the objects each time until the last group remains. If 1 object is left, then the player who placed a bet on 1 wins the pot, and so on.
Mahjong
Mahjong is probably the biggest inherit of Chinese culture to the gaming world. The ancient Chinese tile game has many variants worldwide including variety of online games. According to the myth, Mahjong was developed by Confucius around the 500 BC. The game was brought to the United States during the 1920s and soon was very popular especially among women. The game was played in Chinese style decorated rooms with waiters wearing traditional customs.
The American version of Mahjong was developed during the 1930s and it is played in America until today. At the same time, the National Mahjong league was founded. In addition to American Mahjong, there are Japanese, Vietnamese, Cantonese and other variations of the game, which vary from one to the other by their scoring structure, number of tiles and rules variants. In 1998, the China State Sports Commission had set a standard set of rules that will differentiate the illegal gambling game from the skill game.
Mahjong Solitaire, the online version of Mahjong, gains wide popularity recently. The online version of the classic Chinese game is a matching game that uses the Mahjong tiles. Online Mahjong games can be found in many online gaming sites in variety of layouts and versions.

Playing Free Arcade Games
Atari, which started in 1972, was now dominating the market with popular arcade games such as Pong (electronic version Ping Pong), Pacman, Space Invaders, Battlezone, Donkey Kong and the Galaxian. Video arcade games started appearing everywhere including shopping centers, public houses such as bars, train stations, college campuses, bowling alleys and dedicated amusement parks. However, with video arcade games located in seedy places like casinos and gambling houses, their reputation waned. The sales of arcade games further took a hit with the advent of home video game consoles in the early nineties. People rather preferred to buy or rent out the exact games they used to play in these amusement parks and enjoy it from the comfort of their own homes.
With this decline in fortunes, dedicated arcade games businesses started to suffer and many had to close down or diversify. Diversification involved offering other attractions such as rides with arcade games being only a small part of the business and at least offering arcade lovers to still indulge in their passion. Most of these centers are so different, they are no longer what they used to be.
Playing arcade games is now even easier. With most dedicated venues closed due to advances in the gaming console technology and the internet, you do not need to uproot yourself and find a physical venue. If you are into gaming consoles, all you need is to buy or rent your game and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. On the other hand, if you wish to play free arcade games with a bit of social interaction, you can choose from many internet gaming platforms where you can play as well as chat or interact with other game lovers in the forums.
Arcade games have evolved since the early basic games and new games such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Fatal Fury offer two player fighting themes. There is also more interactivity and more controls, enabling the gamer to feel more connected and thus addicted to the games. Nevertheless, in general, arcade games still offer short levels, easy-to-handle controllers and a progression to more difficult phases. Modern internet arcade games also offer this and just like its predecessors where you play till you run out of tokens or stay alive. Other arcade genre such as racing arcade games or racing simulators are designed to keep the gamer enthused and addicted.
Free online arcade games may have taken the place of the video game that served us these highly addictive and adrenalin-pumping games, but the essence of the arcade still lives on.

Many of the feelings listed here will hurt your Chances of winning in an online casino, Poker Room or Sportsbook and twice as much in one of the terrestrial casinos.
Rage – Rage is a dangerous emotion. When people are enraged they have a tendency to make rash judgments that they letter regret. In the casino this spells death. If you are not thinking clearly about the game you are playing, and only the game you are playing, you will make mistakes that other players will take advantage of.
Happy – when a person is happy they are less likely to make a truly bad decision, s a happy person will not bet over their head or stay at a table when they are losing. A happy person is likely to play a few hands and winning or losing walk away feeling better and will remember the time they played in a positive manner even if they just lost 200 dollars at the Roulette table.
Sadness – Sadness is a form of depression and someone in this state should not be gambling, because if they lose and it is likely that they will they can become a danger to themselves and others
Love – Love is a great emotion and who does not want to be in love, but in the casino love can be very bad. A person in love may be more interested in the object of this emotion rather then on the game in front of them. This can lead to a severe drain to your bank account, so once again another emotion that is trouble in the casino.
Jealousy – maybe you did not enter the casino this way, maybe you became jelouse of the player next to you, Who just won a lot of money, jealousy is pointless in a casino and only leads you into. You must remember that luck is a strong part of hitting a large jackpot, and jealousy leads to anger and anger leads to the broke side.
Disappointment – maybe things in your life have not been what you had hoped for as a child well if this is your mood maybe you should avoid the table games and stick to the Slots. You may not hit it beg on the slot machines but chances are you will have some small wins and that can help your state of
Horror – if something has scared you this may not be a good time to gamble with your money. You will not be focused on the game and that will cost you in the end. Note that this is relevant when dealing with online casinos too.
Nervousness – nervous can go either way in the casino. Some nervous people are better at concentrating on what they are doing and some can no think straight at all, so it really depends on the type of person you are.
Optimism – Being optimistic in a casino is a good thing you need to be confident about your skills, but so not allow yourself to get into trouble by being overly confident. As long as you are realistic about it some optimism is a very good thing.
Shame – A person dealing with shame will tend to look down or away from other people. When gambling at a table against other people you must be looking at the other players to see how they are betting and how they have arranged their hands so you can get an idea of what that have or what they are thinking.
Neglect – a neglected person in a casino can be very dangerous. This person may try to get attention from you at any cost if they cant get it from you with their playing skills they may try to disrupt or even hurt you, just to get you to pay them some type of attention. This person is better off in a shrink’s office then in a casino.
Pride – Pride helps build confidence and being sure of yourself is a good thing especially in the casino as long as you realize that even though you think you are going to win does not mean you are. Just be confident in your skills and you will really see how good you are.
Sympathy – feeling sympathy for others less fortunate then ourselves is a good thing, but it can hurt you in the casino. There are many people out there that will play on your sympathy. They will tell you how they need to pay the rent or that their mother or child needs a life saving operation. Chances are this is a scam. They do this knowing that you may throw the game to help them out, and after you let them win they will go to another table or another casino and do it again.
Irritation – if something is bothering you, be it the guy next to you wont stop grinding his teeth or you just got a $20,000 estimate to repair the roof of your house this is clearly not a good way to be when you are playing for money. The best thing to do is get up from the table and go to the bar.
I hope these tips on emotions will help you decided if you should really be playing in the casino or doing something that will end better for you.

Review New Super Mario Brothers
The Nintendo DS, despite its somewhat revolutionary approach to control via the touch screen interface, is also continuing to uphold Nintendo’s "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it" gameplay sentiments with New Super Mario Brothers – a 2D Mario game in 3D. Confused? Relax, pull up a toadstool and I’ll tell you about it…
New Super Mario Brothers pulls every modern technology trick in the book (though, happily, largely ignores the touch screen in favour of traditional d-pad control), but tries to remain entirely faithful to Mario’s classic left to right, two dimensional platforming exploits. So, even though each and every character, block and powerup is a fully-fledged 3D model, the view of the action never alters from a classic side-on viewpoint, making this the first true 2D Mario adventure since 1992’s release of Super Mario World on the SNES (or perhaps 1995’s Yoshi’s Island depending on your beliefs).
As you may guess, the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Clean, crisp models, vibrant colours (even on the scabby old pre-Lite DS) and fluid animation abound, with a clearly deliberate return to classic Super Mario Brothers visual fare. Green fields to potter through beneath blue skies, towering mushrooms to clamber up before pulling down the level’s flag and disappearing into the little castle at the end – it’s all here, renovated from its 8 bit origins but treated with all the respect and tactility you’d expect Nintendo to lavish on its most important and well-loved IP.
So it looks the business, but how does it play? Utterly brilliantly, as it happens. As mentioned earlier, we see here gameplay largely unchanged since 1985. Nintendo have certainly played around with Mario’s physics a little – he’ll slide more to a stop after a long run rather than stopping immediately, and feels a little less floaty in his jumps (that’s probably what 20 years does to you), but the whole world reflects these changes, meaning you’ll never feel robbed of lives by an unfair system.
Meanwhile, though Mario still kicks shells, squashes goombas, bounces off bullets and collects enlarging mushrooms and fire flowers, there’s a little more going on here to reflect the needs of a more demanding generation of gamers.
Welcome, then, Mario 64’s triple jump (great for scaling new heights) and wall kick (fantastic for preventing untimely pit deaths). Three new powerups also join the fold – a blue shell that turns Mario into a koopa-esque creature who can retreat into his body, skimming across surfaces knocking out foes in exactly the way they do to him. The tiny mushroom shrinks Mario to only a few pixels high, making him unable to kill most foes but able to jump far higher and enter small gaps to uncover secrets. Conversely to this one, the jewel in the crown of new gimmicks – the giant mushroom, a huge, unwieldy spore that flops across the ground and, when collected, will make Mario fill the screen, smashing his way through absolutely anything in his path – enemies, blocks and pipes alike – earning extra lives as he goes. This Mushroom Kingdom Godzilla fantasy never really gets old, and is guaranteed to wow your friends (or scare them to death in multiplayer!).
The game is navigated by a map screen, which can be wandered around, and have stages attempted from, at will (a lá Super Mario World again). Staying true to past outings, expect the usual devious alternate exits to many levels in order to discover new routes and levels (two entire worlds in fact being hidden – think small…), with actual 100% completion of this title taking a very long time indeed. However, played simply from start to end with no frills, this isn’t the longest or most challenging game ever, and therein lies the only criticism. This ain’t no Mario 3; Mario veterans can expect to be through this thing in a matter of hours, with most levels being easily completed on the very first attempt with a bit of care.
Longevity is, however, nicely enhanced by the multiplayer angle (single game card compatible for those with limited cash). Apart from the expected "dash around the levels smacking your mate round the head and stealing his stars" stuff, a large amount of DS Mario 64’s minigames are available as multiplayer outings, and some of these have the potential to last for ages. Case in point: I spent most of a 3 hour train journey from Manchester to Kent last week having the mother of all Reversi tournaments with a friend on New Super Mario Brothers’ bobomb-based version of this classic board game.
Just like Reversi, in fact, it becomes apparent with this latest Mario update that sometimes, it’s the simple things in life that are the most enduring. For me, this notion is perhaps the essence of retrogaming, and it’s great to see that the big companies are not yet ignorant of this fact. With so many classic franchises being defaced and ruined on an almost weekly basis in the often exclusively technology-led mainstream, it’s reassuring to see a contemporary offering that, by and large, gets it utterly right for a change. Welcome back, Mario.

Casino Security How to Pick A Safe Online Casino
First of all, you should check the sites reputation. What they write in their advertisements does not necessarily have to be true. The best way is to ask players about the site, so do a small research. Enter online forums and ask people about casinos. You should also find out how long the online casino you choose has been on the market and whether it is successful. If the casino is blacklisted, it is better not to gamble there. You can also find useful information at OSGA.com. This is a site of the Offshore Gaming Association and you can read there reports of problem companies.
It is obvious that a good company wants its customers to be satisfied so check what customer support the casino offers. Make sure that you can contact the casino easily, find out its mail, fax and toll-free phone numbers. Customer service should be available always, day and night, whenever you need to contact it. People working at customer service should always be helpful and nice. They should treat you with respect and do everything they can to help you.
The next thing that may tell you a lot about a casino is the software they use. If a company uses a good expensive software it means you can trust it. The best software providers are: Microgaming, Net Entertainment, CryptoLogic, Random Logic, and many others. Their products cost a lot so any gambling site that cooperates with them cares about its customers.
When you decide to start playing any gambling game, you have to be one hundred percent certain that you have read the games rules and regulations. Obviously the game you play will always have similar rules everywhere, but there always may be something exceptional which may cost you much. That is why you should be absolutely positive that you know all the rules and regulations that are valid in the casino you want to play at. Terms and conditions at a particular online casino should be your bible.
Security should be a top consideration when looking for an online casino. Reliable casinos use the most advanced technologies to secure their sites and transfers. The best way to check the security is to search online casino guides and forums for any complaints about id theft or credit card numbers stolen. A good thing to remember is that popular casinos invest more efforts into their security because they care about established reputation. It is your responsibility to choose a licensed online casino if you wish to secure your money.
When you finally feel comfortable with all the criteria you investigated, you can start gambling at your preferable online casino. Gamble only when you feel confident and think about your finances. These clues will help you to protect your money.

An analysis of role play games and social networking
I define a role play game as one in which the players assume a character other then themselves. This character is usually in a radically different setting from their normal life, and possessing unusual powers such as magic. These games are rarely set in the present, most usually a few hundred years in the past or future. There are other role play games, but these are far less popular and so are generally insignificant with regard to the current subject.
Now the most popular games are computer games, of which an entire genre is devoted to RPGs, and which have become increasingly popular. The original dungeons and dragons, however, is what is known as a pen and paper game meaning that only a pen and paper is required to play it. As a side note, this is not in fact true- it also requires several dice. Still, in an era devoted increasingly to the computer, the older games remain surprisingly popular.
A small number of players, usually between four and seven, are required for pen and paper games and although the number can vary it generally needs to remain within these bounds for a reasonable game. Once a group has gathered to play, it is very uncommon for any new players to enter or even for old ones to leave, because the character progression and the necessity of close teamwork leads to a crystallisation of the group. It can be very disruptive to the group dynamics to change them abruptly mid game, so the current players tend to discourage new people entering in the middle of a campaign which can last several months. On the other hand, the cooperation required of the team can lead to strong bonds forming between them. This can make it very easy for a player to expand their network of social contacts to include those of their friends, however because many people play the game for escapism they may not wish to discuss their life outside the role they play. Thus the game can either encourage or inhibit the formation of additional social ties, depending on the character of the players. One thing that is certain, though, is that it tends to bring together like minded people in a setting they are comfortable with.
Computer games are an entirely different matter. Single player games such as Might and Magic may e dismissed out of hand, as they are no different then any other games and the impact of games as a whole is not under discussion. However, MMORPGs are a completely different matter. There are many forms of MMORPG, but without exception they allow or, more usually, encourage players to form player-run organisations. Usually called clans, or sometimes guilds, these organisations allow players to band together to aid each other and to compete with the other groups. Most of the players of these games use them as a form of escapism, fleeing from the drudgery of normal life to a place where their efforts are rewarded. In RPGs, everything you take visibly contributes to your growth as a player, and your status can instantly be seen by the items you use and your skills in combat. Once in the game, though, it is highly interactive and the anonymity provided by the internet encourages interaction on an equal level. It is easy to form friends, although such friendships are extremely fluid and liable to shift without warning. Clan members, however, usually form close bonds of mutual support, willingly lending a hand to another member or leaping to their defence.
Sometimes, although it is the exception rather then the rule, membership in a clan or friendships formed online will extend to real life. This is the exception because there are simply so many people, from all over the world, that it is highly unusual to meet someone online that lives geographically close to you. Still, many people do continue acquaintances formed in a game through instant messaging such as MSN messenger or ICQ. It isn't common for one player to introduce two others in an online game, because there is really no need nor reason to. Thus while a large number of contacts will be built up in the course of normal interactions, few of these will lead to a second level of contacts, and even fewer will ever be contacted to outside of the internet.
Thus online role play games greatly stimulate the formation of large social networks online, but these almost never cross the border to real life as it is highly unusual to find someone online who is also geographically near, and it is considered bad form to widely publish contact details or website addresses. However, friendships formed online will often lead to maintaining contact though email and instant messaging (such as MSN or ICQ) which does provide a real-life social link.
While pen and paper role play games have really had no effect on social networking, massively multiplayer online role play games have. MMORPGs allow people to come into contact with far more people of similar interests then they would in real life, and leads to building a large network of contacts online although few of these carry over into real life. As people gradually shift more and more of their operations over to the internet, it is really only natural that their social life should shift with it, and so it should perhaps not be surprising that so many contacts are formed in online games. So in conclusion, MMORPGS greatly stimulate the growth of social networks on the internet, although they have little impact on real life. Pen and paper RPGs also have little to no impact on ordinary life save perhaps to extend the effects of an otherwise normal social gathering.

Win Every Scrabble Game
While you think about this set of letters, lets look into some of the tools which can help you solve the puzzle. One of the tricks most Scrabble players recommend is shuffle, shuffle shuffle... If you can't think straight on a rack, shuffle couple of tyles and rethink, if still something doesn't pop out, shuffle couple of more tiles.
One important thing to note is balance between consonant and vowels in your tiles. If you have less than two or more than four vowels you are most likely out of luck - unless there are tiles on the board that you can use very effectively.
If all else fails you can take refuse in an online anagrammer. One of the best Scrabble helper tools around is at WinEveryGame.com. Just key in your tiles and BINGO it will tell you all the words that can be formed. Not only that, the site will allow you to key in prefix and suffix for the words so you can use the results for a particular situation on the board.

Tips On Buying Computer Games
Avoid Buying From Offline Retailers
One of the worst things you can do as a consumer is to buy games, especially if they are not new, from a local retail outlet. Most of the games within these stores are overpriced even after you factor in the discount that you will get from the advertised sale price or the savings through the store's discount card. If you have too, then its best to buy a game from the pre-owned section. Pre-owned games are generally in good condition and cost 20 % less then their counterparts, just remember to inspect the game box for any missing game manuals and the game disc for scratches.
Search For Online Deals
As a consumer your first choice should be eBay. Generally used games on eBay are much cheaper than the major retailer's pre-owned selection and occasionally you do find good deals. Instead of bidding on a single title you should instead try to win a lot of 10 to 50 games. Keep the games that you need from the lot and auction off the rest. Lots are generally more cheaper, on a per game bases, and in my experience these sellers do not gouge buyers on shipping costs. Also when using eBay be sure to use Paypal as the payment option. Paypal issues, several times during the year, coupons which can be used when paying for eBay items, these coupons offer an additional saving of 5 – 10% and are usually found in eBay's monthly newsletters. There are also online sites such as pricegrabber.com and dealrush.com that display weekly deals from all the major video game retailers. An advantage to using these sites is that they are updated daily meaning you can stop having to rely on the Sunday flyers to find deals. Apart from these sites you can also save money by purchasing used games from members on the various gaming forums (such as Gamingdump) that you may participate in. Just be sure that the forum members that you trade with have a high iTrader rating.
Have Patience
Game prices fall dramatically within a span of four months. Therefore, you should consider waiting a couple of months before buying a new game. Apart from saving you money this approach also allows you to get a better idea of how good the game is and if its worth owning.
Rent If Broke
So why should you rent games? Because its cheap and it provides you the ability to test new games. Most of the latest games appear on the renting shelves within the first two weeks of the initial release date, and given that most major retailers charge only $4-$8 for a game rental, this is the perfect opportunity to test, review and hopefully finish the game. Renting works especially well if you just need to play the latest games without caring too much about owning a personal copy. Remember, you can always buy your favorite rented games later on in the year when they cost a fraction of the original price.
Sell Your Games After You Finish Them
As a broke gamer the worst thing you could is start a collection, especially with new releases. Most new games fall dramatically in price within the first few months, so its vital that you sell your new games as soon as possible. Remember, you can always rent games, either when company comes over or at times when you are bored. This method will not only provide you with additional revenue but will also insure that you are able to play the latest releases.
